This family-focused backyard transformation combined form and function to create an expansive outdoor living area that parents and kids alike can enjoy. Working hand in hand with design expert Monika Valtchev (Monika Valtchev Landscape Design), we integrated a beautiful cascading water feature, outlined by some beautiful precast concrete coping from Bellecrete Inc. With this growing family a child‐friendly safety fence was installed to ensure peace of mind for parents while still preserving the beauty and openness of the deck and yard space. Beyond the pool, we added versatile entertainment zones, including a built‐in barbecue and a cozy fire pit—perfect for gatherings of all ages, and an elevated Play Area for the kids. Despite encountering the normal hurdles that accompany a project of this size—such as material delays and coordinating multiple phases on a tight schedule—we successfully completed the work on our adjusted timeline. The result is a gracefully designed outdoor retreat where this young family can grow and create memories for years to come.
